Sales intern with an interest in sales and customer service

Do you have a salesperson hidden in you? Are you passionate about learning more about online trading with and between Danish companies? Do you like talking to customers and are you quick on the keys? Then it may be you who will be our new intern from August to December 2019.

Spotmarket is an online, closed B2B marketplace that mediates trades between suppliers and buyers within the grocery industry. We help suppliers to sell their remaining lots, possibly. available capacity or get in touch with new customers (food and non-food) and we help buyers from Coop’s stores to get a quick overview of many good offers, and with a few clicks to be able to buy a batch of goods. In short, Spotmarket ensures that both parties make a good deal, and at the same time regularly avoids food waste.

We are constantly expanding our range, suppliers and our customer base and we need you on our team to help us achieve further success.

what are you going to do?

We are looking for an outgoing and well-communicating intern who can quickly familiarize themselves with and pass on our concept to new potential users. You must be comfortable talking on the phone and we will probably give you a thorough training before we let you go on your own – we are really good at customer service!

As an intern at Spotmarket, you will have a large touch surface. You will be part of both the sales and customer service team. You will work as a salesman and will be in contact with many of the major Danish suppliers of goods to grocery stores by both phone and email.

Your tasks will include following:

• Maintenance of our existing customer portfolio of suppliers and buyers
• Finding new customers – you call out to suppliers and buyers and explain about our cool concept. Maybe you have fallen in love with one of our categories and want to expand our customer portfolio within a particular industry?
• Updating customer profiles, introduction to the portal, creation of goods
• To pass on counter-offers and negotiate prices with resp. seller and buyer
• Ad hoc tasks

We have an informal work environment, are open to each other’s ideas and continuously spar in the team. We always want to hear your opinion on things, and we expect you to contribute when you get great ideas. We are a young company with big ambitions and we are a small team that works closely together.
